An artisan from Imotski recently garnered attention after he proposed to his girlfriend on Apparition Hill in Međugorje, a location revered for its spiritual significance. The romantic and pious gesture culminated in his girlfriend’s acceptance, marking one of the most important moments in his life.
The young man knelt before his beloved on the holy ground, expressing his profound intentions: “On this holy ground of Our Lady, placing the two of us under her intercession, I want to build a life in faith with you. My love, I want us to go together towards eternity and the Kingdom of God, which is our goal. Will you be my wife?” Following her affirmative reply, the couple received congratulations from those who witnessed the touching moment.
The memorable proposal was captured in photographs and a video, which were subsequently published by photographer Karlo on his Instagram profile, @karloo_photo. The groom-to-be is known in Imotski as the owner of the “Ora et labora” business, which specializes in the sale, installation, and servicing of air conditioning units.
